Meet the PTO for Coffee and Conversation

PTO COFFEE & CONVERSATION

Thursday, February 24th

9:30 a.m. - Harvest Market

Are you new to Leonetti Elementary, and not sure how to get involved? Been around awhile and wondering if the PTO is a good fit for you? Turned off by the formal “nomination” process? Come join other DLE parents at Harvest Market on Thursday, Feb 24th at 9:30am, to learn what it means to be a part of the Parent Teacher Organization at DLE.

Grab a coffee and enjoy informal conversation about what makes Leonetti Elementary the greatest place to volunteer! Questions before you arrive? Contact Kristi Hansen at vicepresident@dlepto.org.

Boosterthon Funds at Work

With the money raised during our 2021 Spring Boosterthon, the DLE PTO has been collaborating with DLE teachers, admin, and a local artist to create a beautiful plan for our Leonetti Library!

As soon as students are released this May, Jeff Syzmanski will begin transforming our library walls with an amazing mural, filled with magic and whimsical imagination. Here's a sneak peek of what's to come.

A huge thank you to our families and business sponsors for always supporting our Lions and enabling dreams like this to come true!

February 'Sending Love' Campaign

DLE is putting on a “Sending Love” campaign for its school-wide Deeds for Donald.

Students will be making Valentines cards, and drawing pictures for our “extended” Leonetti family that reside in assisted living, memory care, and nursing home facilities. If you have family members that live in a care facility, send your child’s homeroom teachers the family member’s name and address.

DLE Raffle Basket for Fort Bend Education Foundation

Each year, area schools contribute a themed auction basket for the annual Fort Bend Foundation fundraising gala. This year, DLE and the DLE PTO are contributing a "Parent's Night In" themed basket, full of goodies for a cozy date night. Please consider signing up to contribute to this wonderful cause.

Please deliver your items to the DLE front desk by Wednesday, February 2.
