Veteran's Day Program - November 11, 2026

The Veterans’ Day Program will be on Wednesday, November 11th at 9:00 a.m. (for Veteran's Only) and 6:00 p.m. (Open to all visitors)

The morning performance is only for our veterans and their guests. Due to space constraints, no other visitors will be permitted at the morning program. The morning performance will be followed by a light breakfast reception for our veterans. Veterans are required to pre-register here.

For the evening program, we welcome parents, family and friends to attend to support your student.

DLE invites all students to honor a military veteran in their family or community by submitting information for a slide presentation. The information collected below will be used to create a slide honoring your veteran. These slides will be compiled and shared school-wide during DLE’s Veterans Day Tribute Presentations on November 11, 2026. All submissions are due by Friday, November 6, 2026.

Spirit Night

Let’s taco ’bout supporting DLE!
Join us for Torchy’s Tacos Spirit Night on Thursday, November 12.

Grab dinner with your DLE family and help raise funds that support programs, resources, and experiences for our school community. Be sure to follow the fundraiser instructions so your purchase counts toward DLE PTO.

Help us host a Thanksgiving lunch for our amazing DLE Staff! Please sign up for a dish and plan to drop it off to the school by 10:30 AM on Thursday, November 19th. Please comment what dish you will be bringing. Dishes must be hot and ready to serve. Please bring dishes in a 9x13 serving or equivalent. Label your dish if you would like it back. Please include serving utensils. Dishes can be homemade.

PTO is supplying teachers with the main course from Honey Baked Ham.

Leonetti Fall Book Fair
Friday, November 13th - Friday, November 20th

It's Book Fair Time! Starting Friday, November 13th, the Cubs will have the opportunity to shop our Fall Book Fair during the school day. This is a great opportunity for the children to purchase books that excite them, and a portion of the Book Fair proceeds is returned to DLE for the needs of our Library. Please help our Lions create wish lists, shop for books, manage budgets, and check out at the registers. Each class and grade level will have shopping assistants and cashiers to help them have the best Book Fair experience possible.  

PLEASE REMEMBER: Book Fair is CASH-FREE-- each kiddo will need to have an E-Wallet set up with Scholastic prior to shopping, or come with a credit card.  Scholastic E-Wallet setup will be available starting at the end of October.

King of Pops — Book Fair Family Night Community Partner

King of Pops is joining us as a DLE Community Partner for Book Fair Family Night on November 19 from 4:30–6:30 PM.

Stop by, shop the Book Fair, enjoy a pop, and spend the evening with the DLE community. Pops are $5 each, and $1 from every pop sold comes back to DLE PTO to help support our school.

Capture all the memories of the 2026–2027 school year! Order your yearbook now for just $30 through January 31! Prices increase to $35 on February 1, and the final ordering deadline is May 21, 2027.

Lunch is better with your favorite Lion!

Beginning August 31, parents are invited to join their child for lunch on their designated visitor day. Check the schedule to find your child’s lunch time and the day assigned to your family’s last name.

Parents may eat with their child or bring lunch for their child—but food may not be shared with or brought for other students. We look forward to welcoming you to the Leonetti cafeteria!

All Pro Dads Is Back for the 2026-2027 School Year!

All Pro Dads brings DLE dads and father figures together with their children for breakfast, engaging discussions, and quality time before the school day begins. Each gathering explores topics such as character, leadership, communication, and practical ways to strengthen family connections.

We look forward to a great year with our DLE families and school community.

School Store

We're excited to announce our first School Store of the 2026-2027 school year will be open during recess on Friday, September 18. If you're new to Leonetti, welcome!

The School Store runs once a month on a Friday. It's a fun tradition for students to shop for goodies during recess with items priced between 25¢ and $2. Please note that the School Store is cash only. To help make shopping quick and easy, please send your child's money in a resealable plastic bag labeled with their name and their teacher's name.

Grown ups, you'll see a volunteer sign up sheet coming soon. The school store depends on helpers like you to make this a success for our Lions. Please send any questions or feedback to schoolstore@dlepto.org. We're going to have a great year!

Complete your FBISD Background Check NOW!

If you are considering volunteering at DLE during the 2026-27 school year, you must have a current approved background check in the district system. All volunteers are required to update their background check after July 1 each year. This applies to everything from helping in the library, assisting at a class party, attending field trips and more.
