Palooza Chair

Looking for a self-starter eager to lead a team of individuals in creating a fun-filled, check-writing campaign next spring! The Palooza Chair will be the creative mind behind the event’s motivational theme, be organized with timetables and budgeting, and be a clear communicator among the team, teachers and board. In this position, you will be fully supported from the DLE PTO Board and the assigned committee members. This is a great opportunity to make a huge impact for our Leonetti staff and students!!

Graphic Design Chair

Needing a creative spirit who is interested in using design software, such as Canva, to quickly create fliers and graphics for social media use. This is a flexible role that is mostly done behind the scenes, and as needed. Come join the team and keep our publicity looking top-notch!

School Supplies Chair

This is a co-position, meaning that you’ll be working with one other awesome teammate to distribute pre-ordered school supplies to the designated classes each fall, and then work with teacher leads in the spring to order new customized school supply sets. This position has limited time commitment, but does require great communication!

Grade Level Coordinator - ABC/SAILS and Pre-K/Kinder

This is a super fun job for any parent with flexibility throughout the year. It requires an interest in supporting the teachers in your child’s respective grade, and working with the team of room parents to ensure class parties are organized and school communication is distributed as needed. We are currently looking for one parent with a child in an ABC or SAILS class, and one parent with a child in Pre-K or Kinder.

We’re excited to share that we expect our 2026–2027 DLE Yearbooks to arrive during the last week of July!

If the yearbooks arrive in time, we plan to distribute all pre-ordered yearbooks at Sawmill Social on Thursday, July 30, from 5:00–6:30 p.m. We’ll keep everyone updated if anything changes.

If you aren’t able to make Sawmill Social, or if the yearbooks arrive later than expected, don’t worry. We’ll schedule additional opportunities for families to pick up their pre-ordered yearbooks once they arrive. Be sure to watch your email and our Facebook page for the latest updates and pickup information.

We’ll have a limited number of extra yearbooks available for purchase. Extras will be be sold on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

We can’t wait for everyone to relive the memories from an amazing school year!

If you are considering volunteering at DLE during the 2026-27 school year, you must have a current approved background check in the district system. All volunteers are required to update their background check after July 1 each year. This applies to everything from helping in the library, assisting at a class party, attending field trips and more.
