Join Us for Picnic on the Playground on Friday, April 24 during student lunch times! Below are the grade level lunch times on this day. We ask parents to use this link to pre-register to attend the event. Registration will close on Sunday, April 19. As a reminder, photo ID will be needed upon entering the event.
Grade Level Lunch Times
PK & Kinder - 10 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
1st Grade - 10:40 a.m. - 11:10 a.m.
2nd Grade - 11:20 a.m. - 11:50 a.m.
3rd Grade - 12 p.m. - 12:30 p.m.
4th Grade - 12:40 p.m. - 1:10 p.m.
5th Grade - 1:20 p.m. - 1:50 p.m.
On the day of the event, we ask parents to parallel park along the back drive of the school, along the curb furthest from the school. Parents will enter the playground from the gate closest to the pre-school and exit the playground from the gate directly behind the school. Please remember to bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic mats for comfortable seating.
Petals, Paint & Party

Save the date for Petals, Paint, and Party: Spring Family Night! We’ll see you Friday, May 1 from 5:30–8:00 PM at the DLE Playground for an evening of springtime fun. RSVP is preferred but not required. More details coming soon!

Please join us for our first annual Donuts with Grownups! We’re excited to welcome DLE students and a parent or special grownup for a fun breakfast treat before the school day begins.
To help accommodate all families, the event will be held over two mornings based on your student’s last name. Both days will take place from 7:00–7:45 a.m. in the DLE Cafeteria:
Thursday, May 14 (Last names A–L)
Friday, May 15 (Last names M–Z)
Advance registration is required, so please complete the form to help us plan. Be sure to include each DLE student attending along with their parent or grownup for an accurate headcount. The registration form will close on Friday, May 8, so please register early!

First Annual Graduation Walk & Clap Out
Tuesday, May 26
Beginning at 1:40 p.m.
Join us as Donald Leonetti Elementary celebrates the Class of 2026 at our First Annual Graduation Walk and Clap Out on Tuesday, May 26! Families are invited to help us honor our graduates as they parade through the school and wrap up with photos in the cafeteria.
Graduates will check in at 1:40 p.m., with the walk beginning at 2:00 p.m. Parents may enter through the cafeteria entrance at 2:10 p.m. to cheer them on and celebrate this special milestone.
Graduates must RSVP in advance—we can’t wait to celebrate this exciting moment together!

If you are considering volunteering at DLE during the 2025-26 school year, you must have a current approved background check in the district system. All volunteers are required to update their background check after July 1 each year. This applies to everything from helping in the library, assisting at a class party, attending field trips and more.
