In the upcoming months, we will have many days where the campus will be closed to parent volunteers and visitors. Please make note of the upcoming days listed below.
Closed to Volunteers AND Lunch Visitors:
April 7th- 9th- Reading STAAR Testing
April 13th- 16th- Science STAAR Testing
April 21st- 22nd- Math STAAR Testing
April 28th- 29th- Math STAAR Testing

If you are considering volunteering at DLE during the 2025-26 school year, you must have a current approved background check in the district system. All volunteers are required to update their background check after July 1 each year. This applies to everything from helping in the library, assisting at a class party, attending field trips and more.

With the school year winding down, be sure you stay connected to your DLE Lion family over the summer by following your child’s grade-level Facebook page(s). Join the page for your child’s current grade level; each page’s name will change for the 2025-26 school year by June 1.
