Calling all DLE dads! All Pro Dads is a group dedicated to inspiring and equipping fathers to be present, intentional, and engaged with their kids. We offer encouragement, guidance, and practical tips to help you thrive as a dad and husband.
Bring your DLE cubs, and join us for the All Pro Dad meeting on Friday, May 8, in the gym. Arrival begins at 7 a.m., and we will begin our program at 7:10 a.m. Breakfast will be served!

Please join us for our first annual Donuts with Grownups! We’re excited to welcome DLE students and a parent or special grownup for a fun breakfast treat before the school day begins.
To help accommodate all families, the event will be held over two mornings based on your student’s last name. Both days will take place from 7:00–7:45 a.m. in the DLE Cafeteria:

Advance registration is required, so please complete the form to help us plan. Be sure to include each DLE student attending along with their parent or grownup for an accurate headcount. The registration form will close on Friday, May 8, so please register early!

Lions Last Roar

DLE Playground
Join us for a special end-of-year celebration, Lion’s Last Roar! This event is designed to give our students one more opportunity to laugh, play, and make lasting memories together before summer break.
This year’s event holds extra meaning, as some of our students will be rezoned to a new campus for the upcoming school year. We invite families and friends to come together, reconnect, and enjoy time on the playground as a community one last time.
All attendees will enjoy free Kona Ice, and we will be providing a special farewell gift for students who will be attending Scanlan Oaks Elementary next year.
We hope you’ll join us for this meaningful and fun-filled event as we celebrate friendships, memories, and new beginnings!
5th Grade Ultimate Recess

We are excited to celebrate our amazing 5th grade students with a special end-of-year event — The Ultimate Recess!

This event is exclusively for our 5th graders and is designed to give them one last opportunity to relax, play, and enjoy time together before heading off to middle school next year. After years of hard work and growth, they’ve earned a celebration filled with fun and memories!
After all, their last recess deserves to be the ultimate recess!
We look forward to celebrating this milestone with our students and giving them a joyful send-off as they prepare for their next chapter.
First Annual Graduation Walk & Clap Out

Beginning at 1:40 p.m.
Join us as Donald Leonetti Elementary celebrates the Class of 2026 at our First Annual Graduation Walk and Clap Out on Tuesday, May 26! Families are invited to help us honor our graduates as they parade through the school and wrap up with photos in the cafeteria.
Graduates will check in at 1:40 p.m., with the walk beginning at 2:00 p.m. Parents may enter through the cafeteria entrance at 2:10 p.m. to cheer them on and celebrate this special milestone.
Graduates must RSVP in advance—we can’t wait to celebrate this exciting moment together!

If you are considering volunteering at DLE during the 2025-26 school year, you must have a current approved background check in the district system. All volunteers are required to update their background check after July 1 each year. This applies to everything from helping in the library, assisting at a class party, attending field trips and more.
