All Pro Dad
LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD MEN
We are looking for men who would be willing to help with our All Pro Dads Program. All Pro Dads is an opportunity to have a FREE breakfast with your child once a month. The group meets at 7 a.m. on Fridays. We are looking for men who would enjoy helping facilitate meetings, organize breakfast and prepare the pre-planned materials. P.S. While the curriculum is geared more toward dads/father figures and their kids, we always want our programs to be inclusive. Therefore, the All Pro Dad’s Day breakfast is open to moms, as well as other relatives (grandfather, uncle, etc.) who wish to attend with a child (with the parent’s consent, of course).
To attend, you must have completed a background check.
PTO Spirit Shirts
Please review the measurements to the left to size your child. Email your teacher the correct size if you were unable to attend Thursday's Meet and Greet. Every student will receive this Free 2019 shirt to wear to field trips or just for fun. Shirts will be delivered to your child's back pack after mid-September. During the first week of school, routes can be very early, late or on time as they adjust to the needs of the entire route. By the end of August, your stop will run more consistently.

Active applications are needed to volunteer, go on field trips or interact with any students / classroom on campus. Although your status will currently read "active,” you will be required to begin a new background check for the 2019-2020 school year. Please do not delay in following through this process. Come be a part of your child’s classroom next year! We are currently seeking people interested in being a Room Representative for the 2019/2020 school year. Representatives are needed for every class and are vital to organizating and communicating classroom activities. The primary responsibilities of a Room Representative are to help coordinate and schedule volunteers for class parties, field trips, classroom activities, field day, and PTO functions. Being a Room Representative requires some work, but the time you spend with your child will be priceless!

Stay connected to your classmates via social media
Please find your community via one of the links below. Each grade has it's very own page that is managed by a parent, not the PTO. This is a great way to meet classmates, find that missing homework assignment or get involved with age-level community events. They are encouraging and supportive environments. Please note that not all these pages have updated to their new grade name. Pay attention to the year. If it reads 2019-2020, you have a current, on-level grade page. (Admins, please update your group name).
Please review Leonetti's very strict policy (just joking) on celebrating your child's special day. They make it simple and quick for you to prep your child to host their very own mini party in class. Read all about it here. This same information is always available on Pawprints. Just look for the "DLE Birthday Policy" Green button on the side bar when you need it.
TRAINED VIPS NEEDED NOW
We are organizing adult volunteers to help the teachers at Leonetti with tasks like laminating, cutting, bulletin boards, and more! In order to use the laminating machine, an adult volunteer MUST be already trained. We will notify when we have more laminator trainings.
Children are not allowed in the front office They can be in the conference room or VIPS workroom under your supervision. If you are picking up materials to work on (with your children in tow), please ask at the front for them to grab the items for you.
DIRECTIONS: Volunteers will sign-in in the front office and then go to the teacher workroom (copy room) to see what is needed to be done on the counter. Please take all materials to the VIPS Room and Conference Room to complete the work. Please return all work to the teachers box or back to the counter in the copy room when completed. Projects that have been laminated, but not cut out and can be taken home to complete within 24 hrs, are in the black bin in the conference room.
