JOIN THE PTO
Are you interested in getting involved with the DLE PTO? We’d love to have you! Recruitment for the following year begins every January. If you are interested in a position - either on the Board or as a Chair - we ask that you complete the respective Nomination and Interest Form below. These will be used by the Nomination Committee and Board to select the best candidates for each position. Any questions on open positions or descriptions of the PTO roles, please reach out to the Parliamentarian at parliamentarian@dlepto.org.
2026-2027 Meeting Dates
PTO Board
The PTO Board meets monthly at 10 a.m. in the DLE Extended Day Room or virtually. Everyone is welcome and invited to join us. It is a great opportunity to hear what the PTO is doing and share ideas with us; however, only PTO Voting Members and Board Members can vote on motions that are on the agenda. The PTO Board will convene on the following dates:

President
Hello, DLE Families!
I’m excited to welcome you to another amazing school year and honored to serve as your Donald Leonetti Elementary PTO President for my second year. It has been such a privilege to work alongside our dedicated volunteers, incredible staff, and supportive families to make DLE a place where every child can thrive.
I’ve been involved with the PTO since my oldest son was in kindergarten and have had the opportunity to serve in several leadership roles, including Vice President before becoming President. Each year has strengthened my love for this school and our wonderful community.
My husband, Nygel, and I have three amazing boys: Mason, a freshman at Ridge Point High School; Caden, who is in 7th grade at Ronald Thornton Middle School; and Gavin, who is in 5th grade here at DLE. I’m a proud University of Oklahoma alum (Boomer Sooner!) and earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Arkansas. I currently serve as the Director of Training and Education for a national hospice pharmacy organization.
When we’re not at school events, you’ll usually find our family cheering on our boys at basketball games, karate competitions, or art shows.
Serving the Leonetti community is truly one of my greatest joys. I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue leading our PTO and look forward to another year of building connections, supporting our outstanding teachers and staff, and creating meaningful experiences for our students and families. DLE is truly the greatest place to be and we can’t wait to make the 2026–2027 school year our best one yet!

I'm so excited to serve as the 2026-27 DLE PTO Vice President! This is my third year on the PTO, serving last year as the VIPS Coordinator and previously the Website and Digital Display Chair.
My husband and I have been married almost 9 years and have a 7-year-old daughter in second grade at Leonetti.
I have a background in multimedia journalism and business administration having earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and my M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Tyler. I'm currently the Digital Communications Operations Manager for a national radio company.
When we're not in school or working, you can catch our family attending or watching football games all season rooting for my beloved Texas Longhorns, and my husband's Green Bay Packers - or at one of several Disney theme parks!
I'm looking forward to another great year at DLE and can't wait to meet new and returning families at this year's events!

I am honored to serve as the PTO Secretary this year! I am passionate about building strong connections between our school, families, and community.
My fiancé, Rob, and I are the proud parents of Isabelle, who is a 3rd grader at our school. I am also the proud mom of two amazing adult daughters Destinee and Gabrielle. As a parent, I know how important it is for families to feel connected and engaged, and I enjoy finding ways to support the incredible work our teachers, staff, and volunteers do every day.
I work full time as a Human Resources Director, where I focus on helping employees and organizations grow. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering at our beloved school, spending time with my family, traveling, staying active, and giving back to the community.
I'm excited to serve alongside our wonderful PTO team and look forward to meeting more of you throughout the school year. Here's to a fantastic year together!

I’m excited to serve my third year in DLE PTO, as your Treasurer! I am a mom of three boys; Dorian a Sophomore who is playing basketball for the University Of Texas San Antonio and twins Kaine and Kao who are in 5th grade at Leonetti. My husband Chuck and I have been married for 12 years and have lived in Sienna since we got married. We are a Basketball Family so we can always be found at a game cheering on our boys as they play. I love to read and in my spare time, I’m usually lost in a good book.
I currently work as a realtor in the Houston area. I love to get creative with our school’s on campus activities and I’m looking forward to doing a lot of crafting and designing again this year! It’s going to be a great year at DLE with all of our students, staff and families!

I am truly excited to serve as the Student Activities Coordinator for the 2026/2027 year. My husband and I moved to Sienna in 2021. We have a daughter in the fourth grade and this year we have a daughter starting kindergarten. John and I love to travel whenever we can or visit our families that reside in Wisconsin and Tennessee. I do work full time as a Regional Director of Sales in the Hospitality field, but love to volunteer on my free time as much as possible. The staff at Leonetti school is so amazing, and I love being able to give back and help as much as I can. The PTO has been a great way for me to get involved with the school and meet some absolutely amazing people I get to call my close friends.

I’m so excited to serve as the DLE PTO Publicity Coordinator this school year! This is my fourth year volunteering with the PTO. My daughter, Ellie, will be in third grade, and my son, Jack, will be in first grade. Our family moved to Sienna from New Jersey nearly seven years ago.
Professionally, I work in marketing in the technology industry. In our free time, our family loves attending sporting events, especially soccer at both the professional and youth levels. Volunteering with the PTO has been a wonderful way to connect with the DLE community and help support our school, teachers, and students.

Hi, I’m Gloria! I’m the proud mom of Mila, who will be entering third grade at Leonetti Elementary, and cat mom to Mimi. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, working on puzzles, and getting creative with graphic design and crafts. I’m excited for the opportunity to serve on the PTO and help support our students, teachers, and school community.

I am thrilled to join the DLE Board as VIPS Coordinator for the 2026/27 school year! I am a mom of 2 boys: Mason, who will be entering second grade, and Jackson, who is starting fifth grade and has an exciting year ahead of him! My husband Joseph and I have been married for 8 years and are originally from NYC, but moved to Sienna a year ago from Old Bridge, NJ. We have felt so welcomed to our new community, and I am excited to bring the current DLE families, as well as new ones moving to Sienna, together for an exciting school year for all!
Professionally, I am the Regional Sales Manager for a luxury resale e-commerce platform and am grateful to work from home during school hours, as it affords me the flexibility to contribute to on-campus activities. I have served as room parent for 4 years, ran multiple fundraisers and activities in New Jersey, and served as Field Day Chair for the DLE 2025/26 school year. In my free time, I enjoy travelling, reading, writing, and listening to a good podcast while jogging around the community. I am looking forward to meeting all of you this year!

PARLIAMENTARIAN
Serving on the DLE PTO has been a passion since we moved to Texas in 2017, and I can’t imagine a better place to volunteer my time! A little about me… My husband, Jarin, and I have been married for 22 years and we have 4 children: Caden (A&M junior), Alayna (TCU freshman), Paisley (8th grade), and Charlee (4th grade). As a family we enjoy hiking, traveling and playing games, but in my individual free time I love the gym, the sun, volunteering, and shopping. I’ve been a stay-at-home mom for 13 years, but prior to that I worked in nonprofit management and hold a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and a Masters in Organizational Leadership. I’m excited to have a place on this Board and very much value the work done for our students and teachers. Love our Lions!
