Field Day Volunteers Needed, May 13

Field Day is Friday, May 13th, and we need lots of volunteers to make this a fun day for the kids!

Sign up using the links below (divided by grade level):

Kindergarten and First Grade (7:55 a.m. - 10:20 a.m.)
Second and Third Grade (10:05 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.)
Fourth and Fifth Grade (12:25 p.m. - 2:40 p.m.)

All volunteers will sign in at the volunteer check-in table outside the cafeteria, where they will be given their station rules/guidelines. Only registered volunteers who have completed their FBISD background checks will be permitted.

Volunteers should arrive 10 minutes early to check in, and be prepared to be outside and possibly get wet.

Shared Dreams Toiletry Drive

Please join us as we collect the following NEW items for Shared Dreams:

  • Bars of Soap

  • Shampoo - full sized

  • Conditioner - full sized

  • Body Wash - full sized

  • Hair Brushes / Single Combs

Drop boxes will be located in each grade level hallway and the front lobby.

Did You Know?

Shared Dreams is a FBISD program that provides short-term assistance to registered FBISD students whose needs have been determined by their campus nurse and staff. They have helped 15,000 students already this school year! Currently, 48 percent of enrolled FBISD students are considered economically disadvantaged, so Shared Dreams is a crucial support program to those in our FBISD community.

Volunteer of the Year - Leidimar Nemec

Congratulations to Leonetti's Volunteer of the Year, Leidimar Nemec!

Leidimar is an amazing volunteer who comes up to the school every single week to help the front office staff and to help in the Level Library. She has almost single-handedly done all of the laminating and cutting for teachers this year and never asks for help or complains. In addition to laminating every week, she also re-shelves and organizes all of the Level Library books and helps with inventory when new books come in.

She is also one of the first to sign up when help is needed with special projects.

Congratulations Leidimar and thank you for all you do for our school!
