DLE’s 3rd Grade Class honored the military veterans in our community with a special tribute in their honor Nov. 11.
The annual ceremony featured patriotic music performances by the DLE 3rd Grade Class, Ridge Point High School Band, Choir, and the Ridge Point High School MCJROTC.
The PTO also sponsored a reception for veterans and their families immediately after the program.
Although the music program is performed by the 3rd Grade Class, DLE invited all of its students to honor a military veteran in their family or community by contributing to the Veterans Day Tribute Presentation. The slideshow was displayed during the daytime performance.
We would like to recognize those who made this event possible, including the RPHS Band, Choir, and MCJROTC, our parent volunteers, and our amazing music teachers, Ms. Forrest and Ms. Webber! Most importantly, thank you to all of our veterans. DLE and the PTO are grateful to you all for your bravery, service, and sacrifice.
