Field Day Volunteers Needed, May 13

Field Day is Friday, May 13th, and we need lots of volunteers to make this a fun day for the kids!

Sign up using the links below (divided by grade level):

Kindergarten and First Grade (7:55 a.m. - 10:20 a.m.) 
Second and Third Grade (10:05 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.)
Fourth and Fifth Grade (12:25 p.m. - 2:40 p.m.)

All volunteers will sign in at the volunteer check-in table outside the cafeteria, where they will be given their station rules/guidelines. Only registered volunteers who have completed their FBISD background checks will be permitted.

Volunteers should arrive 10 minutes early to check in, and be prepared to be outside and possibly get wet.

DLE Student Artwork on Display

When visiting Bean Here Coffee Lab and Studios, be sure to check out the amazing art display Lion Artists. We are so proud of them and their wonderful artwork. Thank you to Mrs. Tannahill for organizing the display.

DLE Veterans Day Tribute

Veterans Day is Thursday, November 11th. Traditionally, the students would make a poster of a veteran that is near and dear to them and the posters would be displayed throughout the school.

We will be honoring our veterans virtually again this year. A PowerPoint presentation will be compiled to share with the school featuring all of the veterans.

You will find a template to use along with brief instructions here. Feel free to be creative and add some great pictures. Once your slide is complete please email it to DLEVeteransDay@dlepto.org by Monday, November 8th.
