Boosterthon Kicks Off This Week
This means that donating and registration are officially open on mybooster.com, AND students can begin earning awesome prizes!
You can support our school in three easy steps:
REGISTER your student(s) on mybooster.com today. It takes 30 seconds!
SHARE with five (5) family/friends using the SHARE tools on mybooster.com (Facebook, Text Message or Email). Students can earn rewards just for sharing from mybooster.com.
GIVE a donation if you are able.

Throughout the week of Boosterthon, students will experience an incredible character development program. Topics include the importance of curiosity, confidence, humility, practice and endurance by following along with Sports City Worldwide! Check out the trailer here.

Boosterthon Registration is Open!
Our annual DLE Boosterthon Fundraiser is almost here and REGISTRATION IS OPEN NOW!
We’re just under two weeks away from kicking off DLE Boosterthon March 3, with our Lion Fun Run happening on Friday, March 11.
Our goal is to have 80 percent of DLE students registered on MYBOOSTER.COM as we work to raise $50,000 for an outdoor learning area and a new track. Registration is FREE AND EASY!

Celebrating Palooza Participation
DLE had 10 teachers whose classes reached 100 percent participation during the PTO’s Palooza fall fundraiser in October.
These homerooms earned an extra recess and a popsicle party to kick off Thanksgiving break. Some brave teachers even opted for additional fun, allowing students to cover them in Silly String or douse them in water balloons! Thank you to these awesome Lions and teachers!

Through the generous donations in the past few years fundraisers, the PTO has set aside funds for the following three large special projects. We wanted to take a moment to update our DLE Lion Pride Parents on the progress of these projects. If you have any questions, please email Shannon Boyer, DLE PTO President at president@dlepto.org.
BUTTERFLY GARDEN:
As of 9/2021, the PTO Butterfly Garden Committee is still waiting for approval from FBISD to begin construction. A committee of parents and teachers are waiting for the approval to move forward. The construction plans were submitted in March 2020.
LIBRARY MURALS:
In September, the PTO mural committee met with three muralists and are expecting proposals and initial designs within the next few weeks. Once a design has been chosen, the proposal will be submitted to FBISD for approval before painting can begin.
STEM CLASSROOM:
The PTO will continue to support the new Outclass Enrichment teacher and other STEM initiatives within DLE with these special project funds.
